It looks like one of the best places to find cute dead boys in the US these days is in sports. This 17-yr-old dropped dead during a rugby match. The article says deaths like his are so common that they average one teen athlete every 9 days. Who knew? So sad for his family and friends.

Cute guy, must have been awesome at autopsy. They say sports is good for the heart...Wonder if he stayed at home and played games on his PC or chatted on facebook all day...would his heart fail him so early in life?

He had history of heart problems, I think he could have lived longer if he didn't strain his heart.

From what I have read in the news, he died after being hit squarely in the chest with the ball. In rugby it can be traveling at a high rate of speed. This is not an uncommon cause of death in athletes nor is it related to their physical condition. It could be prevented with a proper shield.
