Mine ex-classmate kills a ex-civil guard in my town. The translate notice:
The assassination of former post commander of the Guardia Civil de Cangas, Jorge Fernandez Silvoso, yesterday shook the town of Pontevedra. The accident occurred at 4.30 pm yesterday, at the time that the lieutenant in the reserve,he was 60, sipping coffee at the home of his girlfriend, when her son, Francisco Acuña Martínez, without a word attacked him from behind with a knife to infer cuts in the neck.
After the attack, Jorge Fernandez, popularly known among the neighbors of Cangas for their second surname, Silvoso, was immediately taken by ambulance to the 061 medicalized health center of the town, although the severity of injuries caused his death inside the vehicle health.
The alleged murderer, Francisco Acuña, 21 years old, was arrested, his hands bloodied by a plainclothes policeman who said: "I did what I had to do." Then transferred to the Civil Guard station in Cangas, which is close to the house where the fatal attack occurred. After three hours was transferred to the same clinic where they treated the victim for a medical examination. At night he was taken to Civil Guard headquarters in Pontevedra.
The mother of the alleged murderer and a couple of officers in the Civil Guard reserves shot was taken to a medical center of Vigo, where she was treated for a nervous breakdown.
Jorge Silvoso second lieutenant in the reserve since 2009, was widowed four years ago and for two lived with their current partner. Everything points to that poor boy's relationship with the victim are the cause of the event
