23-year-old British tennis player David Smiley croaks in Bulgaria

Promising young Faversham tennis player and coach David Smiley died suddenly on the first night of a skiing holiday in Bulgaria. He was 23.

He died in Borovets on Friday, December 30 after friends discovered him breathing erratically in bed.

They tried unsuccessfully to revive him before hotel owners drove him to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

David's dead body was taken to the forensic morgue in Sofia for a full autopsy and the young man is still in a fridge.

Funeral will be held in the UK, dude will be taken via plane. My ex boyfriend Alex works at the airport and he takes care of the dead guys, securing the casket and all. I've heard lots of awesome stories from him. I suspect they did more than just "secure the casket".
