I was ready to go back to the morgue and sign the fucking papers and start drilling skulls but the risks far outweigh the benefits.
I read all your comments, thank you for your advice.
BENEFITS OF A MORGUE JOB:
1. Sooner or later a cute dead guy will arrive and I will get to undress him, put him on a table cut him open then stich him up and prepare for funeral.
2. I will be able to take pics when I am on a night duty.
3. I would probably fuck a dead guy (with rubber of course) if I like him and he is fresh.
4. Once you've been to a morgue and see how easily human life can be destroyed and that we are all read meat inside you really start to appreciate life.
RISKS OF A MORGUE JOB:
1. The morgue in Sofia is a dirty place. They provide the dieners almost with no protection only gloves which can be punctured when you stich the bodies with sharp needles.
2. You work with really sharp instruments like scalpels, drills, knives, scissors. The knives are so sharp they can easily cut ribs. All this carries a great risk of getting cut and infected.
3. You are at risk of getting:
5. There is a risk of becoming depressed and suicidal after being exposed to corpses eight hours a day, or when doing 24 hours shifts.
The chief medical examiner of the morgue in Sofia killed himself last year. There are many cases reported in the US of morgue workers developing depression or even morbid obsessions.
6. The smell of a decomposing body is absolutely disgusting and even if you wash yourself it tends to stick in your nose and hair.
-----
As you can see the risks are far many than the benefits, so I stick with autopsy vids and pics, real morgue work esp like the diry morgue here is a high-risk profession and the pay is low too.
It's goodbye to my dream of working in a morgue, off to sell some doughnuts now.
