I think in all countries there is a small number of criminal filth who should be executed. The other countries listed execute for political reasons. A majority in Britain want capital punishment the politicians don't. Hanging for civilians, firing squad for soldiers should be the means.
 
Very interesting...for certain cases and where there are no doubts...any country should carry out executions IMO :dunno:
 
The US should be at least number one or two. We just have too many lawyers mucking up the system. I would argue the validity of the statistics as they don't reflect the full service authorities. They arrest, judge and execute on site.
 
I read somewhere that, because of the complexities of the laws and the multiple avenues for appeals, it actually costs more to execute a prisoner in the U.S.A. than it does to jail them for life.
