Travelling with the speed of light will break Einstein's laws of general relativity. It's impossible.
Some believe in time travel through wormholes, which in theory at least, is more practical than trying to reach light speed.
I highly recommend this documentary presented by Morgan Freeman

RedReb, you are brave boy not to have been scared when you saw the aliens, I would have been very scared in your place.
When I was a teen I, friends and my mom and dad climbed to the top of the highest mountain in south east europe.
It was a clear night no moon and for the first time I saw the centre of the Milky Way with the naked eye, there were so many stars I just felt so confused, I got scared and ran away, I couldn't just take it in.
Later I moved to the city and with all the light pollution I couldn't see anything.
I've seen lots of large fireballs falling from space onto Earth, some were very bright and burnt for seconds.
One does not realize what threat these things are until you actually see how quickly they are falling and if they manage to impact the devastation on any populated area will be catastrophic.
I think one day humans may find another civilization but will we make contact?
Not sure, bit still even finding alien life will be a big discovery.
