TOM PRYCE
This was a freak accident. It happened in the 23 lap Grand Prix of South Africa 1977. Renzo Zorzi driver stopped his car on the straight, his car suddenly caught fire and the pilot came out without serious consequences. After that accident, two crossed the track stewards with fire extinguishers to put out the fire, unaware that Pryce's car passed by. The blow was terrible, a commissioner was killed instantly, while carrying the extinguisher hit Tom Pryce in the hull to 270 km / h and died instantly.
