Dead civilian dumped under a tree and a blown up Russian soldier on the menu today.

US journalist and filmmaker Brent Renaud, 50 killed in Irpin by the Russians

A handsome US journalist reporting from Ukraine was shot dead in Irpin today.

Brent Renaud, 50, was a journalist and filmmaker who had previously worked for the New York Times.

Kyiv's police chief Andriy Nebytov said he had been targeted by Russian soldiers. Two other journalists were injured and taken to hospital.
It is the first reported death of a foreign journalist covering the war in Ukraine.

One of the injured journalists, Juan Arredondo, told an Italian reporter that he was with Brent Renaud when they came under fire.
"We were across one of the first bridges in Irpin, going to film other refugees leaving, and we got into a car", he said in a video published on Twitter.

"Somebody offered to take us to the other bridge and we crossed a checkpoint, and they start shooting at us. So the driver turned around, and they kept shooting; there's two of us. My friend is Brent Renaud, and he's been shot and left behind... I saw him being shot in the neck."
Photographs are circulating online showing a press ID for Renaud that was issued by the New York Times.

In a statement, the newspaper said it was "deeply saddened" to hear of Renaud's death but that he had not been working for the newspaper in Ukraine.

Renaud last worked for the publication in 2015, the Times said, and the press ID he was wearing in Ukraine had been issued years ago.

No one pays any attention to a dead Russian soldier in Mariupol. Next to the body is rocket-propelled iInfantry flamethrower "Bumblebee."

A stray god sniffs the corpse of a dead soldier in Ukraine today and prepares for lunch as it seems no one is interested in collecting the bodies of the fallen soldiers.

Over 20 civilians are reported dead in air strikes on Donetsk but we are still looking to confirm this figure and information from offical sources.

More photos of dead civilians.

Regarding above update from Donetsk Russia's defence ministry says 20 people have been killed and nine wounded in the attack.

Reuters reports that the Kremlin has described the attack as a tragedy and an attack on civilians, adding that "it appears the bosses of Ukraine across the ocean are giving orders to the Ukrainian army".

Ukraine has denied the accusation that it launched the attack.

War in Donbass mixed old and new. The last morgue cold storage room photo is from a few days ago.

I have more info about this after I posted the pic. This is from earlier today in the centre of Donetsk where 20 civilians were killed and 28 wounded when a Ukrainian missile with a cluster charge exploded in the street. Some of the other pics above may be related but unconfirmed.

OKAY I can say for certain now that all of the photos from the above post are from the missle attack in Donetsk today except the last morgue pile. Check also a new video compilation I added from today here.

Wow, a sweet one thank you! :love1:
