Streets of London today resemble battle scenes from Syria. Incredible photo.
 
err......no they don't Meatpie; nothing at all like Syria. I was there and I didn't see dead bodies, tanks, bullets or soldiers on the streets. Also, these crowds are disillusioned youth only; not a wide spectrum of ages and class like we have seen in Syria.

What we have is greed; nothing more. Syria is abut changing the way they live.

It's bad, yes, but please don't put it in the same category.

Give the Syrian people credit for their bravery.

It's the same everywhere - Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Britain all suffer from high unemployment among young people.
 
Yes, but how many of them have the welfare state we have? Free houses, free dental care, benefits, you name it, they get it. Because they are given everything there is no incentive to work. They say there are no jobs; then how is it that Poles, Slovaks, hard working people can come to this country and get work within a week?

It's because they understand that nothing is free and that you have to work for it (plus they are not entitled to the benefits). I'm sorry, but this is just greed and if you look at the comments on Sky news etc you will see that normal hard working British people have had enough with these yobs.

At the end of the day, they don't care or even understand who is in power. This is all about greed, nothing more. They see it on TV and around them and they want it. They want it no matter what because they believe it's their right. I went to University so I could get a good job. It cost me a lot of money, but then it should, because it's called understanding the word 'value'.

Makes me laugh how they still have enough money for their Blackberry phones considering how hard done by they are!

All this is gonna change soon, Britain has a huge budget deficit.

I have friends form Bulgaria who moved to London so that they can take benefits for their kids, a house and a Jobseeker's Allowance.
