I bet you are probably muslim, in which case, stay away from that shit religion, not the region. Sunni killing shiites, go to the Christian part of Lebanon and it is the most friendly, peacefull and liberated place, go to Sunni Tripoli or Hezbolla areas and its scum. I agree he was handsome right to the end and yes, when he was 17 or 18 when he graduated from high school you can tell he would remain handsome.
