Commentary: Man oh man, if only I could have been on that scene and had the money to buy this place! There would be enough ashes therein to last me a life time. ;)

Nearly a decade after her death, an Independence, Mo., man is reunited with his mother's cremated remains.
Since last year, Shawn Breakfield has searched for his mother's cremated remains.
Stephanie Breakfield died nine years ago while Shawn was in prison. The funeral home that had her remains, E.R Morris Funeral Chapel, closed two years ago. Shawn just wanted to find his mother's remains.
Charles Cole worked at the former E.R Morris Funeral chapel for nine years. He agreed to search for Stephanie Breakfield's cremated remains.
Hani Daifallah recently bought the abandoned building in a tax sale. He contacted Cole after seeing Shawn Breakfield's story on NBC Action News.
"Parents are very important to me to. If I knew my parents where anywhere locked up, I wouldn't let anyone do this to my family," said Daifallah.
Cole knew exactly where the former owners kept the cremation log.
He escorted the Breakfield to the morgue in the basement. Within minutes, Cole found the box with Stephanie Breakfield's name on it, and handed it to her son.
"I appreciate that I got my mom's ashes. This ain't where my momma belongs. But I appreciate it and I am glad that they have found these people. People need to to come get them, " said Breakfield.
Daifallah hopes to reunite other families with the dozens of abandoned remains that are still on the property. Eventually, he plans to remodel the property and build a Muslim prayer room.
Daifallah is working on a way to compile the names of the remains that are still in the basement, so family members can claim them.
