Japan is a high-tech nation no doubt about that but they are definately not very smart particularly as regards to choosing where to build their nuclear power plants.
Fukushima was a mistake, a nuclear harakiri and the Japs probably realize that but it's too late.
The whole of Japan is doomed in geological perspective, large earthquakes will continue to wreck their cities and infrastructure, scientists warn of a major disaster in Tokyo as stress on the faults near the capital has shifted and incrased after the event of March 11.
Tsunami threat is serious in Japan, large waves have struck in the past they should have never built Fukushima metres away from the Pacific.
In fact any nuclear power plant on the Pacific Ring of Fire or near an ocean is a nuclear timebomb.
