Honestly he is one of the ugliest dumbest most boring dudes I've ever seen.

My stupid father was initially on my side and he too said dude was ugly but now treats him as his best buddy!

They watch TV together, argue about politics and my dad even helps him with car repairs.

In fact my dad spends more time with him than with me.

Perhaps you are feeling like he is invading your territory. It sounds like you are protective of your sister and feel she deserves better. He may be unattractive to you which is OK. But, your sister sees something in him. Keep in mind that your father is doing the normal thing. He is gaining the man's trust and having a dialog to find out more about him. He wants to know if this guy is the right mate for your sister.

Give the guy a chance. He may have some behaviors that you find to be a turn off. But, he is also trying to learn more about your family and once he understands your boundaries, he will be more careful. He will learn a lot more if you keep the lines of communication open. Not everybody is as pretty as we are. So, we have to be tolerant.

Anyway, it also sounds like you are jealous of the growing bond he and your father have. In other words, it sounds like you want to be closer with your father. I agree with Snerdguy-sir, you are probably resentful that he is encroaching on your territory and relationship you have with your family.
