Most people have no idea what really happens in the morgue, they watch CSI but its nothing like the real thing.

Its human butchering, a diry smelly job - the chief pathologist here told me.

Do you think you can handle that - sawing skulls and removing people's intestines?

Not the sawing into the skull.

Yep, it is a dirty, smelly job in real life - I couldn't do it!

I think the photo may be more representative of a cadaver being used in a classroom in a school of medicine (Probably third world). It would be kind of unusual to remove the brain and disembowel a corpse during a regular autopsy. It also appears that the corpse was drained of blood. A regular autopsy is only performed to determine a cause of death in certain cases.

In the United States, you would have to have a medical degree. By the time you started the job, you would already participated in the dismemberment of a number of cadavers. I don't think I could make it through medical school. Too disgusting.

I think I could do it , because you can always watch things from other perspective.

This is also job that needs to be done and it can be quit intresting. The dead people cant hide any bad behavior they had, everything will be seen. So maybe the pathologist will know more about the secrets of a person than their friends.
