Five hottest years on record have occurred since 2011

New data released by the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) shows that the five years from 2011 to 2015 were the warmest on record.

The authors say that 2016 will likely break the record for warmest year in human history.

If the trend continues Earth could become in large parts uninhabitable with millions of migrants.
