Attempted Toll Booth Robbery Using Explosives Results In One Dead​

In São Vicente, São Paulo state, Brazil ten robbers attempted to storm at a toll booth on the SP-055 highway. As five of the robbers waited outside stopping drivers and holding them hostage outside their vehicles the other five attempted to use explosives in order to open a safe.

However, the resultant explosion ended up killing one of the robbers. The other robbers fled the scene by stealing the vehicle of one of the hostages. Nothing else was stolen and neither the toll booth employees nor the hostages were injured.

For some reason I'm hit pretty hard by this image. I imagine they were shot by the police force. The guy in blue shirts was such a beauty and they were dumped roughly on a police truck? And he was shot at least 11 times in the torso from what I saw in the image, there's no way they should do that to him.

What a shame. My heart goes out to him. Fk.
