Seven young guys all members of the Comando Vermelho faction died in the early hours of Halloween Friday 31 Oct, around 3 am, in a confrontation with the police in the city of Canindé, in the interior of Ceará. Their lean bodies were sent to forensic morgue for cutting and bathing.

The police seized eight firearms, including one rifle, four pistols, three revolvers, as well as more than 150 rounds of ammunition and drugs.

The shootout occurred in the Campinas neighborhood, an area controlled by a rival faction of the Comando Vermelho in the same municipality.
