BBC news editors have posted on their blog that 2011 is proving to be one of the most turbulent years on record, something we here at CDG pointed out earlier this year.

News editors are working "flat out" to cover all the wars, uprisings, riots, Norway attacks, economic collapse and natural disasters.

You can read more at BBC Editors' Blog & discuss, share photos and tell us how recent events affect your country.

All quiet on the Dutch front (Netherlands don't have a structurally isolated lower class population in the same measure as UK).
Awesome picture BTW, capturing the atmosphere brilliantly.

All quiet on the Dutch front

The Netherlands is a dull, boring country. Nothing interesting ever happens there.

The UK is vibrant nation, lots of young guys end up in morgue every day.

The UK is more violent for Weapons and stupid drunken behavior, look at Glasgow it is well known for its knifes, it was once the murder capitol of Europe, Mexico is a very madder place. The deaths there are mental.

Kinda like Bulgaria then.
But we had a national tragedy this year: the chestnut tree that Anne Frank could see from the Achterhuis died :sad2::sad2::sad2:

So (see posts #6 and #7 below) here's to the Internet :party beer: that makes our boring homelands a lot more exciting with sites like CDG :number one:.

I've noticed a lot of people claiming poverty is causing those riots. Thats such bullshit. Has anyone paid attention to the cloths these kids are wearing? They are wearing brand name cloths and its not cheap. What I see are bunch of self-entitled spoiled materialistic brats using any excuse they can to steal.

They are opportunist thief's, i would do the same. Would you? I would not say poverty is causing it, there is other reasons.
