15-year-old athlete Igor Tepkin jumped from the 17th floor the other day in Moscow after losing a competition. Police have revealed that the night before Igor had a fight with his girlfriend and said they believe this may have also played a part in his suicide.

His mother and father were in the apartment at the time.

They both heard Igor slamming the front door and ran out after him.

They found the staircase windows wide open and their son's dead body splattered on the pavement.

Igor was only 15 but already 1.90 cm tall and was seriously engaged in sport, taller and more musled than any of his classmates.

His dead body was taken for an autopsy and is still in morgue.
