Well, your perspective on your own sanity is truly personal. I say those of us who are stuck in a loop within life, and know that were stuck in a loop and accept it are considered sane, those who are stuck and claim that they are not are insane. Just like drug addiction or bad character habits of lying and creating false personas, theyre all built upon our perspective of sanity. Thus, I consider your addiction like anyone else's which pertains to your sanity. Mine is just the same, I love corpses and would especially love to fuck one. Its sadistic in many cases, yet I am an extremely compassionate person (I believe in Buddha's teachings in kindness). Thus My loop and addiction or fetish is no different from a crackheads addiction to crack or a business mogul's to money. Thus do not worry my friend, your "wtf" is completely understandable as most of us would be considered Insane. I say no, we are well aware of our positions and addictions, and if we continue to deny them and be something else entirely, then we are the truly insane.
