The military policeman Vladimir Honorino da Costa, 28, died in a traffic accident early Sunday morning (15), Ilheus-Itacare on the highway, south of Bahia. Police said the car driven by Vladimir was hit by another vehicle, where overtaking another vehicle is prohibited.
The officer has been referred to the public hospital of Ilheus, where he died at around 3am. The others who were in the car the officer had minor injuries.
Friends said that Vladimir was new to the Military Police of Bahia and worked for nearly three years in the city of Eunápolis. Also according to colleagues, he was stationed in the municipality of Itacare PM three months ago.
Vladimir was single and lived in Ilheus.
