I would be very interested in contacting Hakas.
Although exceedingly curious to find out just how he was discovered, the important thing is that I no longer have to worry when he doesn't respond to my posts.
It would be so much easier for me to call him at his home or job to discuss his preoccupation with white women, gay men, and the United States.
Can anybody message me with his address? Phone number? Email? Employer?
He never seems to admire my practical reasoning. I feel confident that direct personal contact can change his mind. Everybody eventually responds to reason.

I dislike Hakas as much as anyone and think many of his posts are unacceptable.
Having said which one of the advantages of sites such as this is that it gives us the opportunity of letting off steam with a guarantee of anonymity. Many of us would be pretty uncomfortable if our posts and our identity were released into the public domain. And I believe that Hakas deserves the same privilege. So I would ask that if his identity and location have been found then then they remain secret from the remainder of us.
Having said which I have no problem with Hakas being concerned about the possibility of disclosure as payback for the hurt he has caused, in particular to Jbarn and remo. But the idea of either of those great guys turning up,on doorstep and having a confrontation with him is not good. And others might be hurt. He might have a partner.mgiven that he is in the states he might have a gun.
So best leave the twit alone.

I agree with Lindier, If there is someone that is a total idot like Hakas, I just never read anything they post. Look at all the attention he is getting. This is the prize he seeks.

Lindier, you offer a valid point. Although Hakas has definitely been an irritant, I think that it would be unfair to share his personal information with the members at large. Emotion got the best of me, for a moment (I think I probably would have exercised better judgement prior to actually contacting him.)
Having said that, I will be following these threads fervently. Will Hakas back down? Will Hakas step up his rhetoric? Will another member actually follow through with "outing" Hakas? Time will tell...

I agree also. We have freedom of speech in the US, even hateful speech such as his. I do not read any of his threads, that is my way of denying him the publicity he seeks. I don't even use his name.

I was just trying to support Rick, that is why I broke this post off from the other thread.

Under the TOS agreement a VPN, is a violation of that? Am I correct or loosing my mind.

Stop worrying mate. I suspect that Rick knows precisely what he is doing and that he knows he has the full support of everyone on this thread.
But I guess it might be better if we left him to it and let him deal with the odious Hakas.

I do not welcome any action against Hakas's person.

He is a provocateur (agitator) who thrives on the attention he manages to get.
Actually I think the content of his posts is so ludicrous they only make me laugh.

BUT: tracking him down, threatening to make him miserable by exposing him, etc, makes me (reluctantly, but all the same) stand up and advocate the true significance of the much-treasured-but-seldom-appreciated-full-impact-of FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

ALL people, including Hitler and Hakas, should always and everywhere be allowed to express themselves freely and without fear of personal harm.

Any attempt to violate this very basic human right is EVIL.

No worries, Hakas's utterances are so ridiculous, they don't need to be contradicted so vehemently.
But even if they were, please contradict them, but don't play on the man, only on the ball.

I think there is a general consensus that we all have an expectation of the right to privacy in respect of our posts and that there is also a right to free speech although I'm not sure I go all the way with PiercedChest on this. Where free speech is likely to lead to violence then I'm not sure that it can be justified although I accept hat it is a very dangerous line to tread.
I also accept that there is no danger to Hakas, either of physical harm or of having his identity disclosed on site.
Maybe it is time to bring this thread to an end at least so far as the personal is concerned although there may be issues on the principles still worthy of debate.
And it would be nice if Hakas moderated his sentiments and language somewhat. It may be nice to wind us all up but fundamental decency must show him that this can only go so far
