My sister has been dating a hideous dude for almost two years now. They met in university.

In July this year my retarded parents invited them over to our villa in for a barbecue.

I told my sister in advance that I can't stand the fuck.

She said, "Please don't ruin everything".

I promised her not to make a scene.

So we sat at the table, everyone was doing something and this lazy, ugly sad fuck just sat and waited like he was king and we were his slaves.

I hated that but I had made a promise not to say anything.

When the steak and fish was ready my dad brought it to the table, the lazy cunt removed the lit and pulled a fish out.

"I, or my sister will never do that", I said almost instinctively.

It was an akward situation but he carried on regardless.

The rest of the day was uneventful.

Today almost six months later mom told me that my sister's boyfriend has vowed never to set foot in our villa again because of the evil bro.

:wack:

"What did you say to him," mom asked.

"Nothing." I said.

What would you have done in my situation?

Would you keep quiet or scorn the intruder?

I am gay, I love men and I fucked quite a few dudes but this is by far the ugliest dude I've ever seen with the self-confidence of a porn star.

:stick:

Definitely smile and keep your mouth shut. You can't police what the relatives do, and it's a huge waste of energy to quarrel about their choices. (Besides, if this guy has the confidence of a porn star, maybe he's hung like one too. Your sister may know things you don't.)

Admittedly, you are hearing the wisdom of age here. I had trouble seeing this when I was younger too. But it's true.

My sister fell in love with a man almost 40 years older than her, in fact he has a daughter who is 1 year younger than my mom. Anyhow my mom told my sister that it was wrong and that he was using her. It is 16 years later, my sister is still with this man and she doesn't really talk to my mom anymore. My brother inlaw is like your sisters boyfriend. He is old and ugly but has her wait on him hand and foot. I think some women like to be treated like dirt, or at least that is what it seems like. I find that telling your sister how you dislike him will only push her away not pull them apart. Hopefully all will work out in the end. But ultimately it is up to her who she loves. I came to the realization that if my sister can accept that i am gay and that I am in love with a man , then I can accept that she loves an old man. My consolation is that he will be dead soon as he is in his 70's.

We don't quarrel but I told her I won't keep my mouth shut next time she brings him over for a barbecue.

Definately not normal.

I disagree. She told me once "Look, I am not blind I see what he is like but I fear if I dump him I may not be able to find another boyfriend".

Besides my parents are on my side.

Both mom and dad admitted they don't like him.

Did you tell her yourself or did she find out through other people?

Do you see each other often? I haven't seen my sister for months and we spoke only once or twice on the phone.

Things change so quickly in life, we used to live together when we were students and until I graduated in 2007.

My sister and i used to be best friends. Once someone thought we were dating because we laughed and carried on with each other. My sister seems like your sister. In part I think these men prey on those insecuriteis. they probably say things like no one will ever love you the way i love you. I don't see my sister often as she lives on opposite coast of Canada from me. We talk on the phone alot. I think she is relatively happy. This is the first man who she was ever with. Would she have met someone else? Who knows my sister met him when she was 17 and they married when she was 19. My mother actually facilitated this. my sisters husbans was an American but was living here and working illegally. My mother thought she could break them up by reporting him and getting him deported back to the states. My sister married him instead so he could stay. I guess all I was trying to say is that sometimes you have to support the people you love, even if it means being there for them when they make unpopular decisions. Yes this man is probably wrong for your sister. Maybe you would be better to boost your sisters ego rather than put her boyfriend down. By putting him down you may in fact be dealing blows to her ego, basically showing her that she makes bad choices. Anyhow that is my two cents worth. I can only really comment to my situation and not yours. I only say from personal experience both with my sister and with friends who have had terrible relationships, pointing out they are terrible does not make the person involved wake up and go wow you know you are right. It only makes them feel bad. Pointing out what a woderful person they are and all the things that make them so make give them the confidence to believe there is love out there.

He threatens her.

He says, "If you leave me and visit your parents I will quit my job, pack up and leave you on the same day"

Now, are you telling me we should tolerate this?

Both my parents are with me, when she comes home next week there will be scenes but I plan to take active part in their breakup.

I don't want this to see this ugly dude ever again. She can easily find another boyfriend, she is 24 for God's Sake she is not fat or ugly...

Thanks for all your replies.

yalada, I am sorry to hear about your sis too, sounds like you love her so much you still can't get over it after all those years. But you said she was happy so that's a good thing.

In my case my sister's boyfriend is making her miserable, suffocating her.
