Monster tornado obliterates Moore, Oklahoma

A gigantic tornado has ripped through a suburb of Oklahoma City, on the second day in a row the Midwestern state of Oklahoma has been slammed by twisters.

The "mile-wide" storm destroyed a primary school, sparked fires, and flattened homes.
Scores of primary school children are believed to be trapped under the debris, local media reported.
On Sunday, at least two people died and 21 more were injured by the tornadoes that also razed a mobile home park.
Children are being pulled alive from the wreckage of Plaza Towers Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma, a suburb just south of Oklahoma City where the twister struck about 16:00 local time (22:00 BST) on Monday.

OMG! 24 kids are still missing in Moore School

It has started to rain again in Moore making conditions even more difficult.

Firefighters are still trying find missing children.

Very terrible phenomenon tornado! Scary, and feel sorry for people who suffer from it!

Can not imagine? Went through a funnel cloud, a tornado that does not touch down, so a very weak one. This was one of the strongest. Amazing the death toll is not much higher!

Authorities now fear more than 100 could have been killed. Morgue workers said they cannot process all the bodies.

Update on the death count. Now the Oklahoma medical examiner says 24 died, 9 of them children. Apparently, in the chaos, some bodies were reported more than once.
