The body of Islamic Jihad militant Jihad Nawahda is carried on a stretcher into a hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin on December 15, 2008. Nawahda, in his early 20s, was shot dead by Israeli special units outside an internet cafe in the village of Al-Yamin during a pre-dawn operation in the northern West Bank, according to the Israeli and Palestinian security sources. The Israeli army also said it had arrested overnight a total of 22 wanted Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.
