No one was injured.

It seems that just a couple of flats were afflicted and of course the laundry on the top floor.

To lessen your risk of dying in a fire, you want a first floor apartment, where you can walk out to safety. However, the benefit of a top floor apartment is that nobody's overflowing bathtub will cause you major headaches. For everyone living in apartments between the first and top floors, your life will be hell, one way or the other.

And it helps to live in a block without highly-flammable cladding.

I saw statistics here in Sweden some years ago and from that you could see that most deadly fire incidents occurred at the ground floor. Can anyone guess how this come?

Plot spoiler most houses are just one floor and the majority of people live on the ground level.

That's a trick question, old bearkill! I was going to guess that most fires may start on the ground floor, but they kill people living on the higher floors. No fair saying the buildings are only one story.
