Not expensive, but waste of cash / time cause the vids aren't easy to download

I don't understand the whole video downloading thing and am worried that a couple of my favourites on youtube etc will eventually disappear and I'll lose them. Can anyone tell me in simple (I mean really simple) terms explain how I go about it? Thanks ever so!

I use "Rip Tiger" to download from different sites, You Tube, CDG, Video Bam.... You pay for it once and can have
a trial before paying. Works for me everytime.
