The Chinese never cease to amaze me with their business strategies...srsly...this is a screenshot from DeathAddict where a dude from China offers "account rentals" for Cute Dead Guys and DocumentingReality not only to Chinese but what he calls international users.

So there is such a thing now on the internet...you can rent an account for CDG.

Can anyone from China help us with the price amount he is asking for and how much roughly this is in USD?

And what's the point of renting an account anyway...damn.

Such like...novel, video, pic.
And rent acount of CDG. Didn't say a price for renting...

Not so surprised.
It is nearly impossible to get a CDG account in China because only quite a few Chinese have a Visa card or Paypal. and CDG also been blocked in China.
Also, Paypal does not accept most Chinese Banks' accounts.

I'm from China, you know, for Chinese, CDG is blocked by national firewall, so in this condition, charge Elite member

Hi, Meatpie, following is my personal opinion, not 100% correct, for reference only. I'm from China, you know, for Chinese, CDG is blocked by national firewall, so in this condition, you cannot charge Elite member every month, you don't know what time you can access CDG next time.The second problem is the price of Elite member, We are in different country, different economic environment, maybe you get 6000 dollar a month, you spend 1000 for house, 2000 for food every month, we get same 6000, 1000 for house, 2000 for food, but it is in Chinese YUAN, 30 dollar for you guys is 30, for Chinese it's about 200, so although We all love CDG, most Chinese will not pay 200 for a website every month, if you pay 200 dollar every month, you will feel pressure too.

China is huge, almost have everything inside, so most of people never go out of our country, obviously they don't Have VISA card, so they cannot charge Elite member, most of people don't know paypal at all, in this case they would like to rent an account is reasonable.

You don't need VISA card to become elite member.

Last couple of months you don't have SARS virus and your economy is booming and everyone able to work while both USA and Europe right now overwhelmed with virus many countries in Europe are not functioning and everything is closed.

You will never know how many times I tried to charge ELite member in the past 4 years, I failed every time and cannot tell anyone, because all functions were blocked, cannot open PM or browse website, even worse than anonymous visitor, I tried send email, also no reply, even you send a PM to me, tell me where to charge, I cannot see it, my dear, it's a dead circle, not charged - block everything - charge failed - cannot report to Admins - not charged.
I think this is the 3rd time I can read and reply in these years, everytime I reply something or ask you for Elite charge link, then account will be blocked, I can see there is a PM, but cannot read and reply, dead circle begin.
Hope this circle will not begin again few minutes later.
