20-year-old thief commits suicide in the centre of Sofia, Bulgaria

A 20-year-old theif and murderer jumped from the fourth floor of the Sofia courthouse on Friday after snapping free from policemen who were taking him to proceedings.

The young man was taken for autopsy.

He was standing trial for the murder of a 70-year-old man in the village of Thompson, Sofia region.
