Vic Morrow died during the recording of Twilight Zone: The Movie while holding two children (Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen) filming a scene of extreme danger. A helicopter used on the set lost control and crashed, decapitating Morrow and one of the children with the propellers in the river they were crossing. The other child died after being crushed by the gyro. Those who were inside the helicopter were unhurt. The accident resulted in the United States under intense labor reforms and safety regulations on movie sets

this actually at the time of the incident happened not too far away from where i lived as a child it was one of the canyons at or near what is now called the city of santa clarita. of course back then it was just newhall valencia ect. at any rate sorry for the added probably unecessary information i just thought i would share with you that the accident and this happening was while i was i think either in junior high possibly high school. when it happened.
