US military pilots and satellites have recorded “a lot more” sightings of unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, than have been made public, Donald Trump’s former intelligence director John Ratcliffe has said in an interview.

Asked on Fox News about a forthcoming government report on “unidentified aerial phenomena”, Ratcliffe said the report would document previously unknown sightings from “all over the world”.

“Frankly, there are a lot more sightings than have been made public,” he said.

“Some of those have been declassified. And when we talk about sightings, we are talking about objects that have been seen by navy or air force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery, that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are hard to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for.

Pentagon confirms recent leaked photos and video of UFOs are legitimate

Furthering the growing interest in unidentified flying objects, or what the US government refers to as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), the Department of Defense confirmed on Thursday that recently leaked photos and videos of UFOs were legitimate and taken by navy personnel.

Sue Gough, a spokesperson for the Pentagon, confirmed to CNN that images and footage of a blinking triangular object in the sky, along with other UAPs that were categorized as a “sphere”, “acorn” and “metallic blimp”, were taken by navy personnel in 2019.

Gough told CNN that the defense department would not comment further on the nature of the footage or share any examinations into them.

Capitalism always fantasizes an external enemy but we communists believe the contraction is always internal therefore always contradictions within ourselves...
Who needs aliens any way while we can't even deal with feminism and racism???

Former US Air Force veteran Jeffrey Nuccetelli says he is speaking to the committee today because citizens have the right to know the truth - a truth that "remains hidden", silenced by "stigma and confusion".

He says five UAP events occurred in Vandenberg, California between 2003 and 2005, explaining that each was witnessed by multiple personnel.

Nuccetelli says they began on 3 October, 2003, when Boeing contractors reported a "massive glowing red square silently hovering" above two missile defence sites.

The event is now known as the "Vandenberg glowing red square event", he adds.

He also says that while he was on duty that night, security guards reported the sighting, with friends of his screaming: "It's coming right at us! It's coming right for us! and "Now it's here!"

Journalist George Knapp testified that he had learned about an incident in Russia where UAP had allegedly taken over the controls ICBMs that were pointed towards the United States. “An incident in Oct. of 1982 over at ICBM base, where UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) popped up and the launch control codes for the ICBMs lit up. Something entered the correct codes.

The missiles were fired up and ready to launch, and they could not shut it down. The Russian officers were panicking. The UFOs they disappeared. The launch control system goes back to normal,” Knapp explains. "We were a couple of seconds away from World War three starting, and the UFOs were responsible for it," he added. An unverified video from the U.S. military was also played during the hearing which allegedly shows a Hellfire missile being fired at a UAP. “That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO and just bounced right off,” Knapp says.

Deadline issued for UFO videos as Congress warns of 'very real threat' to US

Lawmakers have set a strict deadline for federal agencies to hand over secret UFO videos as officials warn the unidentified objects could threaten US forces.

Republican Rep Anna Paulina Luna penned a letter to the US Secretary of War requesting 46 specific Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) videos, telling Pete Hegseth to deliver them no later than April 14, 2026.

The requested footage includes dozens of military-recorded encounters showing spherical, cigar-shaped and Tic Tac-like objects spotted over war zones, oceans and sensitive airspace around the world.

Burchett says he’s seen UFO videos that ‘defy any reason’

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) on Tuesday again added to the chorus of lawmakers raising questions about potential sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFO), days after President Trump teased a release of government files on the topic.

“These people are seeing something out there,” Burchett told host Elizabeth Vargas on NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Reports,” referring to sightings of UFOs.

“I’ve seen pictures and video of things that defy any reason that we have, and everybody says, ‘Well, it’s our stuff, it’s the Russians, it’s the Chinese,’” he added. “If it’s the Chinese, ma’am, they would own us. If it was the Russians, they wouldn’t be bogged down in Ukraine.

“If it was ours, we would never risk our military fighting men and women in half-a-billion-dollar aircraft out with these things that they’re spotting. These things can hover for hours on end, then they can just shoot straight up, they can do angles.”

The Tennessee Republican then recalled a discussion he had with an admiral who told him about an aircraft they saw on sonar that was “almost as big as a football field” and “traveling over 200 miles an hour” underwater.

“We don’t have anything of that capability or that size,” Burchett said.

On Friday, Trump said at a Turning Point USA event that the “first releases” of documents on the matter “will begin very, very soon.”

The president directed the Department of Defense in February to release files “related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.”

That came after former President Obama told liberal commentator Brian Tyler Cohen that aliens are “real,” but noted that the U.S. government is not hiding any. He later clarified that he made those comments based on the size of the universe, but Trump countered that the former president revealed classified information.

On Tuesday, Burchett reiterated his call for the federal government to release the relevant files to the public.

“Just put it out there and let people decide,” he told Vargas. “I have my own theories about what it is, but I would hope that America could handle [it]. I think they can handle it, I just don’t think that our government and their arrogance is — it’s power, it’s about control and it’s arrogance. It’s everything that runs Washington, D.C., ma’am.”

It’s all a bunch of distractions from our governments complete failures.

I disagree with you on that one.

The world's most sophisticated military sensors are routinely picking up physical objects performing maneuvers we cannot replicate, and that this has been happening for generations. The files are out, the data is real, and the US government has officially passed the ball to the public to figure out what it means.

I also saw a spaceship flying over our house it is capable of instant acceleration and incredible speed just like out of Star Wars movie.

I believe they exist but I dont believ anything from our govt right now.

That's different. Thank you for the clarification.
