[h=1]Couple who had their £3,000 wedding paid for by the tax payer because they are ‘too fat to work’ celebrate their first wedding anniversary with a KFC[/h]
A couple dubbed Britain's fattest benefit scroungers who famously claimed they were 'too fat to work' before vowing to get fit have toasted their wedding anniversary – with a KFC bargain bucket.
Morbidly-obese Stephen Beer, 45, and his wife Michelle, who had their £3,000 wedding funded by the taxpayer, hit the headlines earlier this year after appearing on Channel 5's 'Too Fat To Work'.
On the show, the couple from Plymouth, Devon, revealed they received £2,000 a month from the state, and spent much of the cash on daily fry-ups, fish suppers and double kebab dinners.
The couple used their benefit money to pay for a £3,000 wedding but were so large they were unable to consummate their marriage.
