Smother a guy with a pillow without killing him

Could I smother a guy with a pillow without killing him? So only to knock him out..... only to take his shirt off and to dunk him in the bathtub to play a few of drown games.....

Or could I have the same effect using xanax? How many drops for a subject of 70 kg?

Doing some research I've found that holding a pillow on a guy's face for 2-3 minutes he will only knock out and get unconscious, after this if you continue holding it for other 5-6 minutes the guy will die.... So I asked to know if someone have ever tried it...

The problem is that even if you smother someone only three minutes, you are stopping a respiratory function. Sometimes, it doesn't restart when you remove the pillow. It could also cause the heart to go into fibrillation. It will be quite uncomfortable for the victim to be restrained and suffocated. There are other, more humane, methods.
