These handout pictures released by Sri Lanka's Ministry of Defence on March 10, 2009, shows troops inspecting dead bodies of Tamil Tiger rebels recovered following heavy weekend battles in the north-eastern district of Mullaittivu. The military claimed that over 250 Tamil Tiger rebels were killed and as many weapons captured after beating back several attempts by the guerrillas to overrun security force positions.
