Agreed. I think they are saying now, though, that it may have been a preplanned attack and that it may have just been a coincidence that it occurred during protests about the movie (at least I heard something like that on NPR- there might be more to the story than just the movie. The attack seems to have been planned to occur on September 11). I think that it is very tragic, and you're right, the people in the Middle East do not like American occupation and they do not want help building a democracy. Every time Americans remove a ruthless dictator, there is chaos. I think the United States should stay out of Middle Eastern affairs, but that's not going to happen. The attack was very tragic.
