PO2 Gerald Bonifacio was shot to death along National Highway in Brgy. Hanggan, Calauan, Laguna, Philippines on March 27, 2018.
It started when he was going home from work to celebrate the wedding anniversary with his wife. However, his motorcycle ran out of gas in Calauan, Laguna. While he was waiting for a jeepney ride to buy some gasoline, he was shot by an unidentified assailant. The bullet entered his head and exited through his mouth.
