Technical Note: I assume that Hank's granny is talking about drying the genitalia first since you couldn't grate fresh genitalia, you'd have to mince them. In order to grate them like nutmeg, you'd need to dry them, maybe over applewood chips to give them that nice smoky flavour. Why applewood? Because they're going in an apple pie, if it was a savoury dish then I prefer oak chippings.
