Jericho P. Camitan and his girlfriend Erica Angel Navales Fernandez shot dead

21-year-old construction worker Jericho P. Camitan and his 17-year-old girlfriend high school student Erica Angel Navales Fernandez (born September 28, 1999) were shot dead by two unidentified gunmen at Gumamela St., Brgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines at 11:00 PM on October 25, 2016.

The motive for their murders is love triangle rather than illegal drug trade because Jericho's relatives claim that he had no involvement with illegal drugs. The suspects placed a placard on Jericho's dead body to cover the love triangle motive and to accuse him that he was a drug pusher (or dealer).

I would be highly suspicious of this claim by the relatives. Understandably, the family doesn't want Jericho's legacy to be related to the drug trade, but it's not enough for them to just SAY it was a crime of passion. I say prove it. I think this case is not closed.
