He was very scared before they cut him, they showed him the blade and he looked at it in disbelief.

He was accused of working with Americans who are currently bombing a lot of areas controlled by Islamic State. They said children were killed by American bombs and showed video of corpses being pulled from ruined buildings.

Beheadings used to be so shocking, but, any more, even normal people are becoming desensitized to the sight. That is not a good development.

he was very handsome. I love that you can see the neck post slice and the head falling while the body basically remained in place for two photos.

Saw this vid the other day, tried to cut out (har har) the frames they added in. They literally replaced the part where its going through his neck, so its a bit jumpy there.
Also, notice when his head is on the ground and turns towards the camera, do you think he was still conscious and aware of what was happening?? Holy Shit!

It's pretty obvious he was fully conscious after the head was severed, he was able to hear and see at least for several seconds. Blood pressue dropped in his head suddenly and his brain switched off, eyes remaining open.
