Goiás 247_ A preliminary report shows that IML Recife journalist goiano Lucas Fortuna, cruelly murdered, died of drowning. Lucas was found on Sunday morning on a beach on the outskirts of Recife only in underwear, with signs of beating and a lot of blood through the body.

The IML also reported that Lucas received two stab wounds, one in the neck and another near the ear. The report of the death should be ready in 20 days. Lucas was known for being active in Goiânia Gay Movement and have always fought against homophobia.

The crime caused outrage in Goiania and in Recife. Family and friends of Lucas believe that the journalist has been the victim of homophobic crime.
