Singer Enio Knak Júnior, 27, died Sunday morning after suffering an electric shock during a concert at Club Rio Grande do Sul, located in the city of St. Angelo, to 459 kilometers from Porto Alegre.
He stood beside his brother, with whom the duo performed as 'Junior and Marcel'. According to information recorded in the police report on the case, the accident happened around 2:30 am when the singer fell near a metal ladder that gave access to the stage.
Junior came to be taken to a city hospital, but succumbed and died on the spot. The cause of death was confirmed by the Medical Legal Institute Ijuí, where the autopsy was performed.
The location of the presentation was isolated by skill and will in the coming days. The show was part of the programming Carnival Club, which issued a statement deploring the incident and informing the suspension of its activities over the weekend.
