I don't think this research could actually cross over, Arrow. Simply because they are speaking of not being able to control desires, as in actually not 'hearing' the "no" from the logical and rational brain of a "normal" person. If it (the research) applies to anything, it applies the person who cannot control his action, not to the person who wants to do it and then doesn't.
