Dozens killed in Nagorno-Karabakh War [APRIL 2016]

Dozens of people have been killed in clashes between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the disputed Caucasus region of Nagorno-Karabakh.


Armenia said 18 ethnic-Armenian troops died in the fighting early on Saturday, among the worst in two decades.


Azerbaijan said it had lost 12 troops and there were unconfirmed reports of civilian deaths on both sides.


Nagorno-Karabakh has been in the hands of ethnic-Armenian separatists since a war that ended in 1994.


There was more firing across the frontline overnight into Sunday April 3, the two countries said, but no deaths were reported.

Elderly couple killed in small village near the border with Azerbaijan



Meanwhile news websites in Armenia report that an elderly couple was murdred inside their home in Artsakh by Azerbaijani soldiers.

Both victims had their ears cut off.

Azerbaijani army denis any involvement in beheadings of Armenian soldiers and said the pics are fake.
