President Obama has started his 2012 presidential election campaign and although it's early days it's still quite sickening watching him telling jokes in front of an audience of fatties that laughs loud at his every other sentence.

The US is a great nation but the general public should be more critical of their politicans, horrible things are developing in the world, don't let the media brainwash you once again about the great future ahead of you.

I urge our American friends to read more European newspapers, just to get a glimpse of what the world outside the US is.

Life is not all about football games, celebrity gossip and facebook.

And btw facebook is selling info about its users to advertisers. :great:

Unfortunately, Meatpie, the U.S. gov't has spent decades making SURE that americans stay fat, dumb, and stupid using the TV - ESPECIALLY football. They dont' want it's citizens discovering how they have literally raped the rest of the world for it's oil and other resourses, and the job they have done [on us] is complete and well-entrenched for sure. The only time anything is heard of Europe or the rest of the world is when it negatively affects the U.S. Sorry.
I used to think back in the 70's when I was comming out that the 'sexual revolution' would be just in time for us homos. But that one just turned out to be for females.
I share your dissapointment in us. I'm also really sick and tired hearing about the fucking rich Royal family every time they get married. It will all be over soon now (our species, that is.)

What European newspaper would you recommend, Meatpie? Also, is there a European news magazine that you would recommend?

Meatpie...it comes as no surprise to me that you are no fan of Barack Obama, since you prefer to refer to black men as niggers. Having grown up in Germany, I already have a "glimpse" of the outside world. I am left to wonder why you feel the need to weigh in on American politics, given the fact that you are not American and an avowed racist. I voted for Barack Obama in the last election, and I will vote for him again. While I respect the fact that not all Americans feel that Barack Obama is the best president, I can not understand why you feel the need to concern yourself with American politics. I do not really believe that Americans need to be taking political advice from the racially bigoted moderator of a gay snuff site from Bulgaria. I have no intentions to involve myself in Bulgarian politics, and I would appreciate the same from you.

I voted for Barack Obama in the last election, and I will vote for him again.

My post was aimed exactly at people like you.

Can you please explain why you choose to vote for Obama again given the fact that the US seems go be going from bad to worse?

To answer your questions. I am interested in American politics because nigger or not we are all connected and events on the other side of the Atlantic affect us here, the wall street money machine dragged the whole world into a financial crisis which turned into a global depression.

We Americans are not all mindless zombies that unquestionably follow what the political machine has to say. Some of us, contrary to the incorrectly held belief of some, do have minds, use them and do not appreciate the thinking that we cannot think for ourselves and that we are all self-centered; thinking the world revolves solely around the United States. We can learn that from our own newspapers thank you. Right now it is the British that think they are God’s gift to the world, the center of the universe, with the upcoming Royal Wedding. Who gives a flying rat’s ass what they do? Apparently marriages in the Royal family do not mean much for most of the recent ones have ended in divorce and extramarital affairs have abounded. Now that is a great message to be sending to your charges. Get married, practice infidelity, and get divorced. Love, faithfulness and monogamy mean nothing. When that is over, someone somewhere will do some horrible or otherwise dreadful deed and they will be the new flavor of the week.
While not all, some of us that live here are very well educated and have the ability to keep an open mind when it comes to things, including dealing with bullshit. Propaganda is the name of the game. All politicians do it. Ours just do it on a much grander scale. Of any place in the world, former Eastern Europeans surely would understand propaganda; the collective all for the good of the country bullshit of the late Communist/Socialist days. Just because it is on our media does not mean we all pay attention to it or even participate in it. The grass is not always greener and Europe is by no means a shining example of the political process in and at work. People want to start a revolution in other, non-EU countries like Egypt and Libya because they want freedom(s) and such that democracy provides then cannot understand the political ramifications to the rest of the world and cry foul when the government in power strikes back. What are the governments supposed to do? Be mindless zombies that instead of distilling the propaganda now reverse their roles and follow it while it is professed by someone else? Some places are not ready for the people to think on their own and have a say in their governing. Others where the people have gained that power should go back to their old ways for it seems that they do not know how to deal with their new found “freedoms”. With that said, no country is perfect and until God or some other Supreme Entity comes down and certifies a country and all of its proceedings as perfect, it would be appreciated to refrain from making keep the sweeping, derogatory comments about the U.S. Should you have a beef with the citizenry of the United States, either in part or as a whole, for some reason, then make statements like “It seems that some U.S. citizens…” and not assume that everyone is included, unless it is proven and a verifiable fact that all are included. And always remember that it is in your OPINION.

I didn't recall seeing any "fatties" in the facebook photo you posted.
And,,,, I check BBC news over USA news any day. Yes, we do have problems
as every country does. I hate WalMart, country music and McDonald's, but I'm
stuck here. I must admit the alarming amount of uninformed people here scares me.

The rest of the world was an unsuspecting victim? They did absolutely nothing wrong in countries like Greece to bring about their own issues? The U.S. is not the sole source of the world's ills. As you say, "we are all connected and events on the other side of the Atlantic affect us here" just as what you do over there has an effect on us here. This global depression was a disaster waiting to happen. It might have had a convenient scapegoat of a trigger by certain occurrences in the U.S. economy, but if the conditions were not right in the global venue, then the world's economic outlook and condition would not be as dim as it is. Here it is again. When not willing to accept their fair share of the blame, the world turns everything into the big, bad, bully United States came in, stole the ball and went home, ruining the game. Well folks, time to wake up and realize that we are all in this together and we all have and had a part in it. No one is free from blame. Every country has their own issues and demons they must deal with and there are no exceptions. Some do a better job of it than others, but all that matters is that in the end, people are adult enough to accept responsibility for their part in what has happened and instead of just laying blame, they need to contribute to the solution instead of waiting for it to come to them.

I do not see any of these "fatties" in the photo either. As far as uninformed people, the U.S. is not alone. It is an epidemic worldwide as it is becoming more acceptable to lay blame instead of taking responsibility. If there was less of all of this bullshit in the global venue and more cooperation, just imagine what we could do and accomplish.

...no country is perfect and until God or some other Supreme Entity comes down and certifies a country and all of its proceedings as perfect...

Oh noes, you believe in God? :aha:

And you call yourself open-minded? :hahahahha:

What a joke.

Yet millions of Americans do belive in God, your presidents - Bush, Obama etc mention God in their speeches often.

:party beer:

It's been handed down generations from the days of the Puritans who relied on God for almost everything they did.

And this is not my opinion, sociologist Max Weber and historian Alexis de Tocqueville have published many books on American democracy, they both believe it all goes down to
Puritanism, just fair society for all. :nasty pc:

My motto has always been "you made it up, you pray to it".

I do not see any of these "fatties" in the photo either.

I posted a link to a video that was on CNN yesterday and provoked me into posting this thread.

I posted the topic not because of the photo but because of the vid and article on CNN, I am dissapointed you didn't care to open the link and started posting your replies without watching the vid first.

My motto has always been "you made it up, you pray to it".

Meaning?

Did I say anywhere expressly in my post that I believed in God? I do not remember saying that, at all. Another grossly incorrect assumption like your previous one regarding the U.S. Your Supreme Being could be your cat for all I care, my point is, until someone or something can certify that a country has reached perfection, then and only then can they exclude themselves from the rest of the imperfect world. If you want your Pet Rock to certify the world or what have you, I do not care. The thing is, there is nothing out there that is perfect enough to judge whether perfection exists or can be or has been achieved, and hence we are all destined to remain in the imperfect realm. I have a question. If things are so bad here and so great in the EU, why do you go on these rants about leaving Bulgaria and coming to America or even visiting America? Aren't you afraid you might get brain-washed while you are here? Remember, per you, we are all ignoramuses and could not find a hole in the ground if we were led to it and shown where it was as we believe that “Life is all about football games, celebrity gossip and Facebook.”

Maybe with statements like this in your post, we could not help but take offense - "Americans are brainwashed by their media 24/7", "President Obama has started his 2012 presidential election campaign and although it's early days it's still quite sickening watching him telling jokes in front of an audience of fatties that laughs loud at his every other sentence." If it is about the article, then give us just the article, not all of the bullshit trappings demeaning and belittling U.S. citizens and then get defensive when we get upset. I thought you were better than that; maybe I and a lot of people are wrong about you. Or we have little worth in your view, just the same as every darked skinned human being is a 'nigger' in your view. The term is negro, if you must dwell on color. Otherwise, they are simply human, just like everyone else of this species on the planet - including women.

I am not anti-American and I am no racist, I am sorry that you got the wrong impression.

Wooh - Meatpie, dude, who knew such a hottie like yourself could open up such a huge can of worms!!! Some people are touchie, indeed! But facts are facts - most people are just idiot zombies with heads in the sand - most, NOT ALL - i don't want anyone to start throwing stones at ME!!! LOL!
You're right - anyone that brings up 'god' for the cureall excuse for everything are..... well, i better not say anything about that either - LOL!
Carry on, Meat - this is your site and you keep saying your piece - i'm definately in your corner, dude!

europe is not any better. look at how many countries are badly in debt... rich elite has fucked up entire western world's economy, it's a fact. soon china will take over the world, would that be better? I think not.

Europe is in deep crisis yes - political, econimic and demographic. Aging population means young people now will have to work 100 years before they can get a pension.

EU nations are also deeply divided over immigration, nuclear energy and future expansion of the union.

I don't see any of these getting resolved any time soon.

China is undergoing it's own coal-based industrial revolution but majority of population esp in rural areas remains poor.

In a couple of years, perhaps as early as 2014 Chineese buble will burst and some fear a severe economic crisis will hit Asia and may even drag the whole world with it.

I am not against any nation but I think the world needs radical change on a global level and big countries should lead in order to avoid disaster.

Are what? So now we are taking up bashing those members of this forum and the world who have religious beliefs? "God" is not the cureall excuse for everything. Whomever or whatever floats your boat. I said “no country is perfect and until God or some other Supreme Entity comes down and certifies a country and all of its proceedings as perfect." This entity could be anyone who is neutral and not involved in the circle of participants. Someone or something that is held in high enough regard that their opinion is respected and listened to. I did not say anywhere that God was a cure-all or that God, in actuality, existed and definitely and ultimately had to be the one to decide. I am not even sure there is or was a God with all that is and has transpired in the world. Before you insinuate things and make snide remarks, LOL! get your facts straight and do not put words in people's mouths.
