I agree, we need the Orgish pictures here but what you posted about seatbelts - they can injure and you can get caught in a burning vehicle, unable to undo the belt but there is also evidence that it reduces deaths from car rolling over on you after you have been thrown out of the car, which is more frequent. It increases some risk and reduces others BUT governments in many places say we have no choice within the law.

Ride in a tuk-tuk or a tricycle (Thailand and Philippines) and there are no seatbelts. I remember riding in a tricycle in the Philippines with 7 people and thinking that just would not be legal in North America.
