I prefer knives to the belly and bullets to the head. More blood and gore in each instance. Belly bullets are kind of bland.

True, but if I were to choose death, I think I rather go out with a "WOW" than with an "EH".

Then again, a large bullet needn't be bland. Like a cannon ball or mortar shell. Yeah, either would make a deliciously beautiful mess.

Depending on how sadistic the shooter is, a gut-shot can be rewarding as the victim can take a while to die. This is a good reason for using the 22 caliber.
