A 13-year-old boy died following a horrific motorbike racing crash at a legendary U.S. circuit.
Peter Lenz was preparing to compete at the historic Indianapolis Speedway track when he fell off his bike.
The young racer - tipped to be a future star - was then run over by a 12-year-old rival during a warm-up lap ahead of Sunday's first race.
Desperate efforts were made to revive the teenager, with medics placing him in a neck brace and placing him on a stretcher.
