According to Alfonso Castañeda PNP, two unidentified men were found dead at Sitio Marikit East, Brgy. Abuyo, Alfonso Castañeda, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines at 2:10 PM yesterday, March 21, 2017. Both sustained gunshot wounds to their head, and their bodies were dumped off the cliff. Here's the full description:
"On March 21, 2017 at 2 PM, personnel of this office responded from a report of a road maintenance worker of DPWH and recovered 2 (two) male cadavers in a deep ravine at Sitio Marikit East, Brgy. Abuyo, Alfonso Castañeda, Nueva Vizcaya. Base on the initial investigation, both cadaver was shot to death at the place of incident before they were dumped at the ravine due to recovered slugs, shell and two gunshots heard by a resident of Sitio Marikit East on the night before it was reported. The Municipal Health Officer certifies the cause of death of both cadavers as ”Traumatic Brain Injury Secondary to Gunshot Wound”. The cadavers described as; Cadaver 1 (unidentified), 5”7” in height, fat body, fair complexion, 40 to 45 years old, wearing plain blue sweatshirt & maong pants and Cadaver 2 (unidentified) described as 5”5” in height, thin body, white complexion, 35 to 40 years old, wearing black sweatshirt with design read as “COMPRISE” & maong pants. Both of their hands are tied up by a packaging tape. The Bureau of Fire Protection and members of the Alfonso Castañeda Emergency Response Team assisted this office in recovering the cadaver from the ravine."
