Suicide by Draino

Someone killed himself here by drinking Draino.

I used that stuff when I worked as a janitor and it is harsh! I can only imagine what that would do to a human inside.

Draino is pure lye. It irreversably damages all of the tissue it touches from the mouth down through the digestive tract. It takes some time for it to kill because its not by the poisoning but by the internal hemorrhaging caused by the breakdown of tissues. Its kind of like being digested from the inside out. It would hurt like drinking fire. I think that would be one of the worst ways to commit suicide.
