Now this is one death that should not have happened. Someone who works for the railroad should know how to conduct himself safely around trains. Maybe he died of shock, because it seems like he only lost his arm. I'm sure I'd die straight away if a train rolled over me like that.
 
His arm was amputated yes but I read the investigation report and cause of death was listed as head trauma the train wheels crushed his skull. He was a father of two kids he was 41.

Witnesses told police he was inspecting train wheels on a nearby track and just wanted to take a short rest and moved to a second track there were locomotives around making a lot of noise so he didn't see a train moving in his direction so the carriges knocked him over he fell on the track and the heavy steel wheels went directly over his head.
 
Thank you for providing the details. Clearly, trains and tracks can be dangerous even for a professional. This man let his guard down for a minute, and that's all it took.
